Where I would prefer not to play in the play-in game (another chance to have a cold night and lose) I like our draw. We can beat Vandy, Ariz, Miami, and Vill.
Good to see scheduling no road non-conference games, losing the playin round game in your tourney to an AWFUL HORRIBLE GARBAGE TCU team and masking a 9-9 conference record with 4 wins against GARBAGE teams and KState gets you an 8 seed.
Back to back years the committee does an absolutely horrendous job. We got screwed but we should consider ourselves extremely lucky. Schaus probably saved us.
Many thought the same thing against UNC and Iowa State this year and against KU in the tournament a few years back. UNI will clearly be the underdog, but UNI will also clearly have a chance to pull the upset. I will leave to Las Vegas to quantify that chance.
UNI beat a #1 seed UNC, IwSt on the road and WSU twice, on the road and neutral court. They were playing well late in the season and that should mean something. Got no problem with them being ahead of WU.
Isaiah Whitehead may be the most overrated player I've ever seen. Great athlete. Constantly out of control. Horrible decision market. Turnover machine. Makes as many plays for the opponent as his own team.
LOL...All the guys on here crunching numbers all week and it turns out Palm had it right all along, 11 and in the First Four....second year in a row. No doubt he gets info on bubble teams from CBS/NCAA commitee members, he is not that smart. NCAA got the #1's correct, according to Vegas, KU, UVA, UNC and the Quack Attack would be neutral court favs over any other Tourney team including Nova and Sparty. Tough spot for WSU. If they get that far Miami is a team that could make a deep run...big, athletic, and very good guard play. Should be fun.
Palm said WSU wouldn't get an at-large even if they made it to the finals. They didn't even make the finals and they still got in. He wasn't right.
