Let's reverse this conversation-what are the last second shots that have broken our hearts?
Besides the UNI game is 2005, Tim Pickett's double pump off balance 25 footer for Florida State in the 2004 NIT sent me into a two week depression.

2005: Vanderbilt
2005-06: Illinois's late shot that WSU followed with a half-court shot that was a split-second late
2006: Creighton. Anthony Tolliver's buzzer beater that capped a comeback in a game that saw WSU lead by 20
2006: Tony Skinn's late 3 that gave George Mason a win here in the BracketBusters game
2007: A late shot by Appalachian State that caused us to lose another Bracket Buster game here
2008: Creighton made a late shot that capped another comeback in Omaha in 3G's first season. Gal Mekel came down on the next possession and was called for a charge, trying to take the lead back.
2009: It seemed like UNI hit a shot late at home to win. Matt Braeuer then had a shot at the buzzer that rimmed out. Another example of nothing going right for us in 3G's first year.
2009: 1.9. Enough said.
2011: VCU's late FTs on a BS call at the end. David Kyles rimmed out a desperation 3 at the buzzer.
Those are the ones that immediately come to mind.78-65

Last Season it seemed like Kelly made a huge shot with little time left for us for a big win in a close game
If I recall, did not LD Swanson make 2 or 3 buzzer winners for big wins?
Now FVV big 25' shot versus the Zag's was not at the buzzer, but was the Shot heard around the world with a fraction of one second before the shot clock buzzer and was a gargantuan make on our way to defeat a #1 team.Last edited by forevershockerfan; February 20, 2016, 12:52 PM.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

On the flip side, I thought WSU was dead in the water against Alabama last season. Only to pull off the win.
Let's not forget the ISUr "Mortal Kombat" game in the Final Four season!
Other crazy endings, keep them coming! The Assman
