Didn't Bradley hit a near full court shot that would have won the game that was about 1/2 second late?

That was against Illinois in South Padre Island at a tournament.

WSU had that game won!! Then, they didn't it...

Sweet 16 that season though, so it all worked out in the end!

I was somewhat fearful for my life going into this shot. My crew had second-row seats in the upper level, so I was concerned that my impending bonkers moment might have seen me accidentally fall out of the upper deck. I might have even given my wife my hat during that time out as I was certain that I start chucking things in celebration after a game-winning three.

Oh, what could have been... Sigh...

I had forgotten about that, but that was a good one. McDermott actually got a somewhat-decent look at a long buzzer-beater...might have at least hit rim. I remember thinking, "No Wookie, you don't get to ruin two senior nights." (He coached UNI when Delta Bravo who shall not be named broke our hearts and ruined our NCAA hopes in 2005.)

Let's reverse this conversation-what are the last second shots that have broken our hearts?

Besides the UNI game is 2005, Tim Pickett's double pump off balance 25 footer for Florida State in the 2004 NIT sent me into a two week depression.

2004: David Moss of Indiana State that came after the rectal exam that was ruled to be a jump ball.
                  2005: Vanderbilt
2005-06: Illinois's late shot that WSU followed with a half-court shot that was a split-second late
2006: Creighton. Anthony Tolliver's buzzer beater that capped a comeback in a game that saw WSU lead by 20
2006: Tony Skinn's late 3 that gave George Mason a win here in the BracketBusters game
2007: A late shot by Appalachian State that caused us to lose another Bracket Buster game here
2008: Creighton made a late shot that capped another comeback in Omaha in 3G's first season. Gal Mekel came down on the next possession and was called for a charge, trying to take the lead back.
2009: It seemed like UNI hit a shot late at home to win. Matt Braeuer then had a shot at the buzzer that rimmed out. Another example of nothing going right for us in 3G's first year.
                  2009: 1.9. Enough said.
2011: VCU's late FTs on a BS call at the end. David Kyles rimmed out a desperation 3 at the buzzer.

Those are the ones that immediately come to mind.

Not sure of the opponent. Maybe UNI. Randy Burns caught in bounds play under their basket with the lead under 10 seconds left. Covered ball up waiting for foul. Got tied up instead. Jump ball to bad guys. They hit buzzer beater for win. Known as "The Umbrella Game" in my family because dad wrapped his umbrella around a pole in parking lot upon exiting. Long ride home to Mulvane after that one

UT Arlington took the lead with 6.3 seconds left in 2007. Gal Mekel lost the ball before he could get a shot up.

That was the previously-mentioned Indiana State game in 2004.

Yes, and it seemed like the K-State coach was their coach in that game?

Last Season it seemed like Kelly made a huge shot with little time left for us for a big win in a close game

If I recall, did not LD Swanson make 2 or 3 buzzer winners for big wins?

Now FVV big 25' shot versus the Zag's was not at the buzzer, but was the Shot heard around the world with a fraction of one second before the shot clock buzzer and was a gargantuan make on our way to defeat a #1 team.

Cle's three @ IlSU in '13 after the ninja-kick was with 6 ticks left. Granted, all three of those the opponents had the ball after us with a chance to tie/take the lead, but none converted.

What about the game when WSU led late (late under 10 seconds late) against ISUb and Fridge got called for a foul, then a technical for throwing his headband down.

On the flip side, I thought WSU was dead in the water against Alabama last season. Only to pull off the win.

Let's not forget the ISUr "Mortal Kombat" game in the Final Four season!
