The real point is that we've proven we can move the needle. Might as well give it a go.

Voting for others won't change amount of votes, so therefore it won't change percentage. I am sure someone keeps track of the number of votes each guy gets, which is what will ultimately determine the winner of the portion of voting. However, like the Infiniti Challenge, it is much tidier to report percentages than actual votes.
So, as I understand it, vote for Fred and only Fred.78-65

However, you are correct that one way or another, eventually Fred must have more individual votes than Brogdon or it won't matter.
If we assume that there have been 10,000 votes at this time, then Fred needs about 54 more votes than Brogdon, per day, between now and poll closing on March 21st.

Voting for others would help those others but it will lower Fred's vote % in relatively the same amount it lowers Brogdon's %. The only way Fred catches Brogdon is if Fred gets more votes than Brogdon is getting. If Fred and Brogdon are getting an equal number of votes it won't make a lot of difference. It could lower both guys percentages but 32% to 16% is no different than 24% to 12%. The higher number still represents twice as many votes. No reason to help the other guys to maintain or close the gap with Fred. I will continue to vote only for Fred.
Another way to look at is say their are 100 votes and Fred has 20%. If you vote 20 times from Fred only he would then have 33.3% (40/120) of the vote. If you voted 20 times from Fred and 2 other guys Fred would have 25% of the vote (40/160). Either way Fred still has 40 votes. However, in the 2nd scenario the other two guys are each 20 votes closer to Fred then they otherwise would be.Last edited by 1972Shocker; February 24, 2016, 02:39 PM.
