What a difference between between Saturday and tonight. Tremendous energy by the entire team the entire game. It was certainly tremendous to see Zack, Grady, Connor and others play perhaps their best game of the season.

Wow!!! The Shocks were penetrating, going inside, making shots, defending like rock stars, and what about Baker, Brown, Grady, CF, and FVV? Nice job, no pouting, lots of effort against tall timber.

Our Baker outplayed their Baker. Was that Wilkens that cast the elbow into Browns arm pit? Brown should have said "what" and maybe could have got the T like Stutz against the other Wilkens? Yikes!!!

Winning is fun and I Hope we win all home games for 3 years again. Tonight was a great start.

The whole team looked determined and serious about the season.. I can't stress how puzzling it is that we don't see this type of performance every night. This team should go down swinging in the event of losing any game this season.

Sorry about being a Debbie Downer here, but let's not all get carried away with this win. NMSt looks good because of their record and being #1 in their conference, but they're not. They have 1 top 100 win all season and that was #95 Grand Canyon. In fact, they only have 3 top 150 wins. This is essentially a blow out win against SIU.

But, we needed to get out of conference and gain some confidence back. So in that way, it is a great win I suppose. Let's hope we can keep this up and it isn't just a mirage due to the opponent.

Mr. Nurger found permanent residency tonight on the pine after missing a point blank layup bad. We so much want him to succeed but he has to make shots like that!!!!!!! He will get his chances with 3G so let's hope for the best for that young man. He has plenty of ability and we need his A-game as we move deeper into prime time!!!

Nothing has changed. We are still 2-6 in close games where we shoot 3's like dog duke. This game changes nothing because the other 18 games are an anomaly.

Tonight, looked like a team giving full effort. The last 10 days...did not. The one thing that remained a constant...the officiating is so brutally inconsistent from game to game, half to half and even possession to possession. And the make up calls tonight in the 2nd half were laughable. Good win. Good effort. Take care of business and up the intensity for senior day. Thank you Shox for giving an effort worth being proud of tonight.
