How many games in a row has Evan started?

I would be shocked, shocked, shocked, if Evan did not start the remaining games.

In Coach Marshall's mind, he is a starter as history has shown. When Coach Marshall has his heels dug in on a decision, he is not likely to change his mind.

I believe he will continue to start. Coach Marshall may choose to reduce his minutes.

I think barring injury or some major decrease in mental aptitude from either Zach or Shaq, the starting lineup is what it will be for the remainder of the year.

Landry didn't look like a guy who had problems with the system in the handful of games he played.

I said it with Derrick Rose a couple of years ago, if he's cleared by the medical staff he should play. I don't know Landry but I'm sure he wants to play again ASAP. He could sit out until the first game of next year, injure something else and then he missed a chance to play in the NCAA tournament. The only guarantee is now.
I'm not recommending he doesn't play.

There aren't many true freshmen that are going to a) adjust to D1 ball in 3 games, and b) execute Marshall's system efficiently in 3 games.

I know you weren't. I kind of went on an unrelated rant there at the end.

You bring up a valid concern. I guess the only way we'll really know is if he plays again this year.

Why would anytime in February be too late for Landry to be up to speed for Arch Madness?
Jamar, any ability for you to pull the date when Baker started practicing at full speed?

                2013/2016
Baker foot injury and late season return/Shamet foot injury and ??
Hall and Wessel injured/VanVleet and Grady injured
3 mvc losses in Feb/ 2 mvc losses in Feb (hopefully not another)

Sure there are several other similarities, and still optimistic about how the shox end the season. Fire up, play angry and get to the promised land this year!!

                Go Shox!!
One element that is missing is...Antoine and X have yet to pay a visit.

Honest question regarding Shamet; is the program, as a whole, better served to redshirt him at this point? I'm not saying he wouldn't be valuable. I'm saying four full years of him without FVV and Ron might outweigh adding him to this mix. Just curious as to other takes.

Get him on the court with Baker and Van Vleet post haste.

I found the following. Looks like Ron was still not practicing fully exactly 3 years ago today. Sounds similar to Landry's current involvement.

If you have about 2 hours of time, this has been discussed exhaustively in the Landry Shamet Injured thread.

There are three ,,, count em THREE opinions that have any weight when it comes too who is or is not going too start ,and how many minutes any player will get. On top of that there is only ONE opinion that actually matters and that's 3.3G's So unless one of ya'lls on 3.3G's speed dial, and not tellin the rest of us (I know I'm not) I'll defer to the guys that have done a damn fine job so far. Unlike the 90's I'm pretty sure no one on this board has a better idea of who to start and how to play them. But I guess if you want to debate things that you have ZERO impact on this is the place. As for me I'm just gonna watch and appreciate the show that's actually on the court.

I asked Mike on the radio last night and he said RB didn't start practicing full speed until just a few days before that first game back. Said it was super human and didn't really expect Landry to do the same.

Guy gets on internet message board to inform other anonymous posters that they don't control Marshall's decisions, but they may still share personal opinions if desired.
