  • We aren't a bubble team. We are a first four out. Must win in StL

    • We can't blame the Valley, good teams win games, regardless of conference strength or stench.

      • Playing Nurger extended mins in the first half was just dumb. GM has to quit fearing the 3rd

He just moaned and groaned about normal stuff. Game is too early. Too many games. UNI is good again. Displayed zero enthusiasm.

He should have been pumped up to slap UNI around.

Yep, he takes guys out of games far more than five fouls do.

              • Both teams really hustled to the max tonight. After 3 years or so, we finally lose a game. UNI was not the team I wanted to end this streak but they have won 3 huge games this Season. We are bound to play them again and will win.

In simple laymen's terms, on offense we were hot and were not, then we were sort of hot, and then we were not. On defense the first half, we were cold but played much better in the 2nd half. We ate glass but could not shoot the ball in the ocean. At the end, it took so long to score when we did score. The last 2 three points shots by Baker and CF were close, but no cigar.

I am really surprised by our outside shooting woes; I REALLY thought it would be our big strength this year. It disappeared like donuts at a weight watchers meeting...
A critical component of beating a zone is good player and ball movement. We do almost zero player movement and very little quick ball movement.

Jans was always the voice of reason, when they Shox need to shake things up.

I really hope he's back soon.

This. I'm not pissed that UNI beat us here...well, I am but that's not the point. I'm pissed because this loss wouldn't hurt nearly as bad if UNI hadn't crapped the bed at Springpatch or at home against Loyola. So UNI, you didn't lift yourselves up today. You just brought another team down. Fans of teams in the Valley don't really want to get better. They just want to drag WSU down back to their pathetic levels.

Have I mentioned how much I hate this God-forsaken conference?!?!

                            2. Face it - Fred and Ron are under achieving on offense 8-31
                            3. No ball movement means poor shots, poor shots means low shooting %
                            4. How many times has Fred driven and thrown up bad shots when he should have kicked it out?
                            5. AG had two good minutes
                            6. I think we ARE on the bubble with other bubble teams doing well so far today
                            7. Need to win out............period

You're just the latest to say it, so I'm quoting you. Fred gets hammered on 95% of his drives. I don't know why he can't buy a foul call. I don't want him to just kick it out. Today, he tried passing it and still got called for the charge (before the terrible charge call when Washpun was sliding into position). I think he needs to stop driving for a bit. It will keep him from getting hurt and help us on offense.

In the tournament, I think those calls will start going our way, and I won't get nearly as nervous when he drives.
