Luckily, unlike in November, the team and coaches will have 7 months to deal with the change.

I do wonder, though, without Fred and Ron who can create their own shot or drive to the hoop, who can do that next year? McDuff can finish and shoot, but can he create his own shot? Shaq can finish when Fred draws defenders and dumps the ball to him with no weak side help, but can he be the focal point of the offense?

Yah, I don't see it. Conner, Landry, Duff, even Zack Brown can create. And we don't know about Peyton of the new guys coming in yet. Barring injury, I think next November is certainly better than this November was.

I came here to say this, but I think it's important enough it should be on the page twice.

Yeah, that plus an overseas trip over the summer will be hugely advantageous.

Most of my posts are, but apparently double-posting is taboo, so I try to avoid it.

Quoted because such truth and irony so rarely meet.

Well, call me stupid but I doubt that I will have a dry eye on senior night.
One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

next year is going to be like a whole new chapter in shocker basketball. it should be very interesting, with challenges along the way, but i think marshall is up to the challenge of maintaining a fairly high-level of success.

i'm trying to picture the full guard rotation for next year.. but in marshall we trust

I am impressed with the talent this year and the infusion of new guys next year. I believe the single most difficult thing to replace will be the absolute refuse to lose attitude that Fred Ron and Even bring every time to the court.

I believe Conner and Landry and Daishon will just fill the void in a Different way and CJ, Austin, and others will give us the depth for relentless defense for 40 minutes of hell. Then our 3-5s namely mm will be superstars. We are loaded!

The fact that WSU has 5 guys averaging 4-10 minutes per game indicates CRAZY DEPTH!

Only 3 guys playing 20+ minutes sounds appealing come the weekend in St. Louis.
Or that our margin of victory in conference games (I haven't checked but wouldn't be surprised if we're #1 in the nation) gets the end of our bench on the court more than any other team...

I agree on the depth though. Legit 10 deep.

Agree with all of the above but to keep the randomness going - I see the day when Shox will break out new SHOCKING "Gotta wear shades" gold jerseys for either an ESPN tournament game or an IBA game. MSU, Baylor, Oregon, and *Kanye* will be most envious.
