To this day that is my biggest WTF moment when it comes to fan behavior, in all sports, home crowd or away.Once a Shocker, Always a Shocker-- RIP Guy Alang-Ntang

I remember the game as well. I had some connections and was sitting with the Panthers. Dad was escorted out because someone threw a liquor bottle at him from the student section. He was quite upset and security got involved. Emotions get involved and poor decisions get made.

I do think Gregg should call up Bill about captaining an Americas Cup team, because the man has won an impressive amount of boat-races.

Yep. I was at the Vandy game in person with a few friends using Jamar's personal allotment of "family" tickets. Sitting with all the player's family members for the Jamar put back of Miller's intentionally missed FT was amazing. Even though the next play was horrible, it is still a very fond memory overall. I have to give Vandy's fans credit. The student section was very close to us, and many members came up afterward and were very polite, discussed the crazy ending, and wished us safe travels.

UNI is coming off their worst offensive game of the year in Saturday's home loss to Loyola.
The Panthers were 13-48 (27.1%) from the field including 7-24 (29.2%) from the field and a relatively frosty 8-13 (61.5%) from the line. The were also outrebounded 37-31 although that isn't surprising considering how many defensive rebounds were available to Loyola.
Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing with respect to tonight's game. The game seems to be a bit of an outlier as they have generally played well at home this year with their only other loss at home a 78-84 loss to Colorado State in their season opener. They are 6-2 at home now. However, only the surprising win over UNC was a quality win. The other 5 wins are against D-III Dubuque College (83-63) and 4 D-1 teams with an average RPI of 260.
You would think UNI will be highly motivated and focused for tonight's game and I suppose the wins over UNC at home and Iowa State in Des Moines shows that they can be dangerous. But they would appear to be the frontrunner for the National Schizo Team of the Year.
The Shocks appear to have ratcheted up their game since the OT loss to Seton Hall and are playing as well as they have all year although they still have room to improve. Against Indiana State Fred finally looked like he was 100%. Looks to me like the Shocks have a much stronger bench then UNI does and that depth could be a big key tonight.
Looks like the Shocks are about a 7 point favorite. I'll take a 7 point win although it would be good to see the Shocks continue to build on their momentum with another 20-point win in a well played game.
Perhaps the scariest thing about UNI is that you just don't know what you are going to get.
