  • Markus starts on every other MVC team and would be the unanimous and consensus pick. As it is, his minutes, and thus his stats, won't support his selection. Of course, that's my opinion today. There are still 11 games to play and he could increase both considerably!

    • Church from MSU would be my guess at this point

Oh yeah. Somehow forgot he's only a Freshman. Similar points per game to MM, though he gets more minutes to do it. His shot blocking is impressive and may well be the difference maker.

Church is also getting quite a few rebounds.

McDuffie actually handles the ball VERY well. He has a little trouble in close quarters and while catching the ball at full speed.

If any of those guys behind McDuffie where on teams as deep as WSU their numbers wouldn't be so high. They are forced into action on a bad team.

Absolutely. No need to worry about those issues, but I think when people talk about McDuff needing to tighten his handles, they are only meaning in difficult situations. He's advanced.

right. the way he consistently scores in close quarters shows good/great handles. 'not sure why haertl got that b.s. started. now, rashard kelly.. there's bad handles.. less-than-d1.
