I bet we will see yet another big name or very good "get" on the schedule to fill the spot. OU won't be the only team interested in starting a series with us after Ron and Fred leave.

And if not that, i would think Creighton would sell well. Do we play them here or there first? Isn't that series happening soon or did I imagine that?

why wasnt it? someone made a comment about tickets. He was pointing out how little the program is supported down there and that tickets should be easy to come by.

That was one part of the show. I thought last nights show was one of the better ones with quite a bit about the players and other info.

Used Peyton as DJ Ballentine on the scout team but he MADE all his shots. HCGM told him he may have transferred to the wrong school because if he had gone to Eville he would be the next Ballentine for Marty.
Said the reason ZB and MM were successful on Ballentine and Beane is because of their length. They have such long arms they can keep close enough to keep a hand in their "shot pocket" (more on this term coming up) and keep enough distance to keep them in front of them.
Shot pocket is where the shooter starts his motion at about waist level and brings it up to his shoulder/head. He said on Beane's first shot he had to move the ball in a circular motion to avoid ZB's hand in his shot pocket and shoot which barely touched the rim.
Said MM is starting to "get" it. When he got here it was like he was on the play ground and just having a great time playing. He was 17 and not much focus but he says that part is getting there. Said there is a lot of Cle in him and is a very special player.
A caller asked if Conner had the "green light" to shoot. This was a big eye roll from everyone. HCGM again said Conner was told to do "more". He then went on to say he is getting better on defense and is a "great shooter" but will probably never be the rebounder Fred is.
Talked about the recruits coming next year and specificly Daishon and CJ, both are doing really well and I believe CJ he said would be a lock down defender.
Still tries to impress the new guys on buying into defense and limiting the other teams possession's. An example he used was Fred and Ron in the Eville game where he said neither had a good offensive game but Ron worked his butt off on the defensive side. He said Fred didn't have a very good defensive game in that one as well.
There may be more but thats what I remember the most.

Peyton Allen is one that I keep forgetting that is even on the team or will be here next year when I consider new "incoming" players. I have a feeling he's going to be a solid player.

I've been extremely excited about Allen. He'll be a player for sure.

The game is being played at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, not Lloyd Noble Center. Anybody with half a pulse knows that OU doesn't draw well for basketball, especially before January.

All the post did was enlighten everyone that the poster is an Oklahoma football bandie. Nothing more.

And that was of such paramount importance to point out why?

Agreed. I've had a whole different perspective on things since I found out @WuDrWu: was a bandie OU football fan.

Presumably (I only see what's quoted) because it gave Fever something to complain about. He has to get back into his regular SN form after apparently being civil to SIU fans, judging from some of their compliments to him.

By the way, 21, are you actually Yoda? That was quite a sentence arrangement you came up with.
