This match-up will go down in Valley history. The first of potentially three final meetings between 4 Valley legends. Fred VanVleet and Ron Baker vs Marcus Marshall and Gavin Thurman. This game has been 4 years in the making. If you thought the WSU/UK game was a good one just wait for tomorrow in Springfield.

While this all looks bad for MSU, they appear to get better as they lose players. Roundtree and Ruder have not played since the Bears were 1-5 (5-5 since). Williams has missed the last 3 games during which they have beaten UNI at home, Loyola on the road and would have lost to Evansville regardless. To top this off, Kendrix missed the last game (all four players sitting) where they won that roadie against Loyola. Go figure.
