This actually could be relevant to bracketology, Heinro, in the sense that one of the many positive data points WSU has on its side as we approach Selection Sunday is its customarily excellent 9-3 road record.

Not a big deal for WSU these days, of course; they're accustomed to being even better. But 9-3 is good by college basketball standards, and it's good news in terms of how they're likely to be viewed by the selectors.

We have all these discussions about what seed we will get, but in all reality what seed is next to WSU doesn't mater much. It's all about match ups. I'll take our draw last year as a 7 seed over the draw we got as a 1 seed every year... If WSU plays to their potential and gets good match ups they can win this championship. God I'm ready for th big dance!!

UNI is up to #85. Even with a lost to us they should more than likely stay in the top #100👍.

Dream scenario, ISUr beats UE in the semis to break into the top #100 while UE is still able to stay in.

Yes, at least one more top 100 win opportunity Saturday for the counters, with another likely chance on Sunday unless something untoward happens to UE or the Jailbirds today, or against the UNIs tomorrow. Yet another advantage of continuing to win at this time of year.

By the way, as tough as WSU's game was against LUC, the UNIs may have had an equally challenging battle today; and that was while shooting just under 50% and scoring 66, neither of which is likely to happen against the Shocks. I'm looking forward to Baker getting another shot at them when he isn't sick -- and I'm guessing that Ron is, too.

Go read my last few posts I said that my gut feeling is you guys are a lock if you win the quarters. Then after you won I said I believe you are a lock. Again I am not the committee though just my point of view. So ya I know but even if they were not top 100 and were 105 that wouldn't change my point of view.

I don't see how you are so confident that Wichita State is safely in.

but I am not feeling no where near as confident as you are that if you lose in the MVC tournament you are a lock to get in.

I hope you guys win the conference tournament and don't have to sweat it out but this sure doesn't feel like a lock to me.
