  • I was blessed to get to sit in really good seats Saturday. Let's just say that the air was heavier than what I'm used to in my normal seats at Koch.

My biggest observation. WSU's team defense was incredible. Utah's starting PG was hounded all day and totally lost concentration due to frustration. Fred had his hands in the right place at the right time all the time. Ron is that annoying guy you play against in pick up ball who blocks you from behind even after you thought you had him beat with a good move. The WSU bigs were almost always ready to help, and help well without hacking. Nothing for Utah was easy, and it was obvious they just felt frustrated all day. When your defense is making the other team feel frustrated, you know you are doing the right things.

One of these days, a poor Valley team is going to lose 85-39 or something silly like that. Poor them when they catch WSU on a good shooting night.

And FVV, Baker, and Wessel will be on the sidelines whoopin' it up.

Thanks. Makes sense. I was a little too bashful to zoom in on her, um..., antlers.

But the best without question was Fred. If you watch, he started hopping and jerking just from the crosses that Conner laid down. When the shot fell, I think I saw a little Gene Gene The Dancin' Machine happening.

Very entertaining. As others have noted, quite a headline for the clip, though: ESPN misspelled Frankamp's name, as well as calling a win by the betting favorite an upset. Somebody in Connecticut is asleep at the editing switch. Either that or they read Shockernet --some of our guys haven't yet mastered "Frankamp," although hopefully that will improve with time.

Edit: I assume hopping around and dancing are approved hamstring therapy.

            • Had a blast up in the nose bleed seats. I love games at IBA... wish there were more. Great crowd; great atmosphere. I thought the roof was coming down on Connor's 3... awesome moment.
This team is just getting better. Love the big rotation inside... all of them playing their butts off.
