Only part of you, monkey? I'd say all of me -- and most of the rest of us, too -- would gladly do a quick bit of time travel if we could somehow go back and execute that trade.

Maybe Wamukota can be the guy to hit some big FTs vs. Utah this year, and we can go from there. But if a similar situation arises in this year's Final Four I personally will be hoping Baker takes the three.

We apparently have zero talent or athleticism. Good to know. They out match us at every position. Better go ahead and hand Lorzeno Bonam a first team all american trophy because of 15 point effort against IPFW.

(INSERT WSU PLAYER HERE) won't go for (INSERT POINT) against these guys and the entire team is shooting horribly this year. We lose by (INSERT LOSS MARGIN HERE).

My hopes are high however. If we can (INSERT SOMETHING FUTURISTIC), we're back in business. Crossing my fingers.
To save KC some time I summarized his prediction from every other prediction thread.

I predict I will drink several beers, yell loudly, and enjoy what should be an exciting game. Go shockers.

We have no player that can guard Poeltl. If we have a player they can't guard playing well and we scheme well I like our chances.

Instead of predicting a score just yet, I will start by predicting the Evan Wessel versus NBA 7' center rebound margin.

                  Poeltl - 9 rebounds
                  Wessel - 10 rebounds (6 offensive)

We don't have anyone that can guard Poeltl, but we do have a wave of big guys with fouls to give as they seek to get him frustrated and benched by his own retaliation fouls :)

And we have a 6'5" guy who has posted Poeltl's picture on his locker and he punches it in the face every time he sees it.

We need the Play Angry effort from the UNLV game with a much better shooting game. Even with that I would expect a very competitive game.

Poetl doesn't have 15 fouls and probably can't go all out for 40 minutes. The combination of Big Bush, Shaq, and Nurger does and can (though whether they will remains to be seen).

As a fan, I appreciate your optimism, but as a realist I'm thinking back to last year's game. I can't find a box score, but IIRC, Poetl kinda' ran roughshod over Evan. It was either him or the other aircraft carrier they had.

Hustle makes up for a lot of things, but 7" is a little much to be asking. I just hope we slow Poetl down. If we do that, we win. Our guards are clearly better than theirs this year. No Deion Wright probably has something to do with that.

It will certainly test the defensive improvements of BW.

Evan had 9 rebounds and Poeltl had 11. Here's the box score: http://espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=400586341
