A couple of the guys do a podcast for UNLV that visited the game. I know a lot of you have some bad blood created from some of their fans' antics, but the two guys have nothing but great things to say about their experience in Koch Arena.

Said it was the loudest environment they've ever been in their life, be it another sporting event or club or concert etc.

Also, hilariously, they sat in front of referee Dave Hall on their flight out. They had been heckling him the entire game. That's Gold, Jerry! Gold!

I love those comments. These guys made the road trip last year to see UNLV play KU too. And they still said that. Shocker fans did their job well!

To be fair, that's a pretty strange and wordy way to convey that he simply got them into the tournament.

Losing to us in itself didn't help Rice's cause and we did have Fred back for the game. Losing 6 of the last 8 games probably had more to do with it.

I read on their forums that he was only making 300k, with an additional 400k from boosters. So 700k is all vegas can afford ? He brought in a lot of talent for a guy making low mid-major wages.

It also goes to show how spoiled we are with our support here in Wichita.
