Satellite? Neither? I'm pretty out of the loop when it comes to what channels and coverage you can get up there.
Fox and Hound in Overland Park (Metcalf a bit north of I435) has the official watch parties in KC.
The alumni association hosts them. Contact them, Brooke Amos is the KC area coordinator.

As far as P&L goes for basketball, if it's not KU, it's probably not on. Welcome to KC, Shocker basketball coverage trails UMKC basketball and Nebraska football.

For Shockers on TV Time Warner Cable is the way to go. They do the TV production for shocker games (except the ESPN and FOX games). So all of the games are in HD on my cable in KC. My father in law has DISH and misses out. There are work-arounds if you end up with another provider.
I had season FOOTBALL tix... did you?

The official Alumni Association watch parties in Denver are at the Blake Street Tavern in LoDo. There is usually a good sized room set aside for us.

I have been known to host unofficial watch parties in my living room as well, which can get quite rowdy at times.

Tickets for the WSU game at SIU went on sale today. If you're interested in joining the watch party at SIU arena for that game, here's the link.
Plan to attend with my wife, son & #2 daughter. Got too busy and forgot I could order today.

Are there any alumni association watch parties in OKC? This town SUCKS when it comes to sports. Shocker watch parties would really help that.

I've never stayed in Carbondale, but a few weeks ago I stayed in a Drury in Marion, which is a little less than 20 miles from Carbondale. It was a very pleasant experience, and if you call, they can give you the non-refundable rate, which was very reasonable.

That said, someone else may have more specific information about Carbondale itself.

Call the basketball office. Maybe you could find out where the team is staying.
