Do any of the ShockerNetters get together for "watch parties" when the team is playing on the road? We used to do this quite often for the football team when I was in college (not at WSU), and I just wondered if there was ever a chance/choice to do it for any of the WSU basketball games. Seems like there are probably a few establishments around town that wouldn't mind a little boost to their business on game nights when the Shox are on the road. Thoughts?

I'll be moving to KC this month, so this is a great time for me to ask this. Any watch parties downtown P&L area? Also, is there a better option for getting shocker games on tv in KC? Cable? Satellite? Neither? I'm pretty out of the loop when it comes to what channels and coverage you can get up there.

This seemed like the most fitting place for this post:
Tickets for the WSU game at SIU went on sale today. If you're interested in joining the watch party at SIU arena for that game, here's the link.

As for the games on TV. Time Warner has a channel called Metro Sports that carries all of the games that are on Cox 22. I've had TWC for a few years and like it. A lot of the time the game will be blacked out on ESPN3 and only available on TWC. I can only think of a few games that I haven't been able to watch since getting TWC."When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!
