From my football-fandom side, Dalvin Cook at FSU had a bad hamstring injury all season. He'd play and be completely fine, rack up 160 or so yards ... and the next game he'd tweak it on the first play and sit the rest of the game out. Some weeks he sat, some weeks he played, once or twice he left the game for a quarter or two and then returned.
It's still possible Fred will have a set back or two coming up, but beating up Marshall for playing him would still be wrong. It's a tough injury to predict, and he needs to take the advise of the doctors and Fred.

I just read the Eagles recap. What is great, but also deceiving, is how many points we scored off Billiken turnovers. 25 pts to 18 TO's, 7pts being transitions. That's a nice thing, but not when myself and other spectators are looking for a functioning half-court set against a team that won't lay down and die like SLU did. A lot, I believe, is still blowing in the wind, but one thing is still for sure: FVV and 4 pre-school kids would get at least a 7 seed in the NCAA's.
