    1. Fred. A 70% Fred is our best PG by a mile. Amazing what a difference he make TRUE, TRUE and TRUE
    2. Glad HCGM reads Shockernet. More Simon, less Taylor. And more Ron at the 2 Hope Conner coming on means less Simon.
    3. Shaq is back. Glad 3G didn't let Shockernet hand Shaq his walking papers. We need him to be succesful., Yawn, he has had flashes in the past, if he does that the rest of the year then I will buy in..
    4. Brown is so much better when he can be relagated to the 4th or 5th option. Nice game tonight. TRUE
    5. Evan back to doing Evan things.
    6. Fred again. Look what happens when Fred plays. Everyone goes back to their roles and the pieces fall back in place.
    7. Nurger looked like a D1 player tonight. He may take over for Wamukota afterall.

Looking forward to seeing Conner play next game. Good night.
Shocks played better D tonite as well, but we will need better shooting from the 3...30% won't cut it. Conner should help that but we still need to get some post play to really open things up....Last night was nice, UNLV will be a good test to see where we are with FVV back in the line up.

From my football-fandom side, Dalvin Cook at FSU had a bad hamstring injury all season. He'd play and be completely fine, rack up 160 or so yards ... and the next game he'd tweak it on the first play and sit the rest of the game out. Some weeks he sat, some weeks he played, once or twice he left the game for a quarter or two and then returned.

It's still possible Fred will have a set back or two coming up, but beating up Marshall for playing him would still be wrong. It's a tough injury to predict, and he needs to take the advise of the doctors and Fred.
It's not beating him up. First off, he admitted playing Fred too early. Fred felt some kind of uncomfortable feeling in it the day before. It's ok that 3G makes occasional errors in judgement. It doesn't indict him for anything. It just reminds us he is human and he will do something, albeit rare, he himself will call questionable. You did hit it on the head in regard to it's an awkward and unpredictable injury. Yes, he could still tweak it, but at least this time a reasonable effort was made to rehab it. Let the future play out.

Coach J. Wooden was a big believer in the kiss shot.

Bill Walton could kiss it off the glass almost better than he could kiss the butt of a blunt.

At least some soreness to he did not get out of bed.

My bet is medium low soreness.

                  • I just read the Eagles recap. What is great, but also deceiving, is how many points we scored off Billiken turnovers. 25 pts to 18 TO's, 7pts being transitions. That's a nice thing, but not when myself and other spectators are looking for a functioning half-court set against a team that won't lay down and die like SLU did. A lot, I believe, is still blowing in the wind, but one thing is still for sure: FVV and 4 pre-school kids would get at least a 7 seed in the NCAA's.

All of us dumb folk were told that there was no question that Connor was playing last night.

My bad! I wouldn't have answered if I would have realized it was a loaded question.
