I'm not worried one ounce about the future of this program. Rough patches will come, but with the young men that are currently on the roster and in the pipeline, I see no reason to think the best times are behind us, for the best lies ahead.

They will all likely be back playing at various times this season, some this weekend, but all certainly by March. Anybody getting off the wagon now needs to go back to playing canasta or posting on pinterest or quilting or whatever some such nonsense.

If you're taking me to task on FVV, CF, and to some degree LS, then I officially have no idea what you're getting at.

I understand we want the bandwagoners for revenue, but from my personal perspective, thank goodness. From a fan perspective, or at least mine, it was much better to be a fan back when we were losing in Portland or winning in Salt Lake when it was only the ones who truly cared. I don't have KU/WSU semi-fans telling me not to root for Stanford, etc. I'd look at that as one of the positives if we enter the tournament with a 10 or 11 seed, just our core group of fans again. As I have stated, this is purely my personal viewpoint, I realize the bandwagoners help us bring in $, which is more important.

Bandwagoners are what they are, don't worry about them. Wolves don't worry about the opinions of sheep, and those of us who are the always loyal, diehard, true black and gold Shocker fans are the wolves.
If you think about it, this is the first really rough patch since BEFORE the Final Four. Wow. We were due for a rough spot, but I'm not worried, plenty more glory awaits, and right soon.Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss

So what exactly is a Bandwagoner????
So, what exactly is a Bandwagoner?.....I grew up in Wichita, I remember dying in '76 when Cal Bruton, Cheese, Bob Elmore and the boys blew a late lead to Michigan in Rd 1 of the NCAA and then watching Michigan roll to the final game vs Indiana and thinking WSU should be there. I have great memories of watching AC and Cliff in the early 80's and bringing my college buddies from OSU to Levitt in '87 so they could see the WSU experience in person as we destroyed Hersey Hawkins and Bradley. No, I didn't attend WSU but it's always been WSU fan first even when they've played OSU. I've been a season ticket holder since '99 yet I get goofballs like ShockerFever calling me out as a "Bandie". Well if because I didn't go to WSU makes me a BW fan so be it.... and, Heinro, why would you call us out and almost make fun of us for donating $$ to the Shocks???? almost makes me want to reevaluate my commitment to WSU.Last edited by WillieJeffJeffries; December 2, 2015, 03:41 PM.

It is an internet board, and nice, decent people troll. Why they do this I do not know. But I do know that we are not as deep as I thought and our sophomores are not where I hoped they would be. Perhaps I have unrealistic expectations but I am with the program through thick and thin. For crying out loud I kept my basketball tickets when I deployed, taking a pay cut from my civilian job, and was not able to attend! I would huddle in the commo hooch after a 4 day job out in the ****, to listen to Mike Kennedy's play-by-play hearing Jamar and crew play their hearts out against the SIU juggernaut (& others). I do not consider myself or any of my family bandwagon fans but I do appreciate their presence because it means the program is doing well. The glass is half full and as I said in another thread, at least the parking lot will be easier to navigate after games for a while but I am eager for the return of packed houses. Hopefully I will be surprised when UNLV comes to town on the 9th.

I just ignore him anymore WillieJeffJeffrries. He's a DB. I'm like you, grew up in Wichita, a WSU fan who loves ball. I follow multiple teams but over the last few years I've been branded Creighton, KU fan over and over. Doesnt bother me. Its just a few posters that have child like tendencies who say those things. Hang in there!

We know what we're getting with Frankamp. He was top 40. Career city league scoring leader.
Allen comes from a strong program in Springfield and is highly thought of, but he doesn't have the cachet that a Frankamp does.
I think Allen will be a really good player for us, but until I see him on the floor, I'm going to reserve judgment. Remember Shaq was MVP at the Whataburger All-Star Classic (Oklahoma vs. Texas basketball game) and that has translated to exactly zip so far. Yes, he was good at the end of the year last year, but I think we're seeing the 'Three faces of Shaq' (kind of like the 'Three faces of Eve') this year.

My sincere apologies on my positive outlook. I will try to be more dour in the future, as to not elicit bright red 16 point font.

But to requote your statement "...but all certainly (will return) by March."
We have a different viewpoint on this statement. Strictly from a roster standpoint I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst with Grady and my senses tell me coach has the same mindset. Not calling you out (sorry could have toned down font - my bad!) we just have very different viewpoints on this matter.
