    • I don't even care if he plays tomorrow. Just the fact that it's even a consideration is GREAT news!! If he does, maybe it's just a few minutes as an offense/defense sub while Delgado isn't in the game. Defensively, I'd say our 3-headed post has done damn well.

      • I think you've finally hit upon the right term, Shockda: the three-headed post. Everyone agrees that they haven't exactly been a monster, but they're definitely a post, and they may yet become a monster.

        • I like Cerberus, the three-headed dog. Not quite a monster but good for guarding the basket (or the entrance to the underworld)!

          • "Practices lightly" could mean a lot of things. The question is was it full contact practice or was it non-contact basketball drills and walk-throughs. He will have to have at least one full contact practice without any symptoms before he would be allowed to return.

In any case, this sounds very promising for Anton and I am very happy for him.

Personally, I would rather re-integrate him against New Mexico State and Nevada but in the right circumstances maybe he would get a few minutes against Seton Hall (assuming he has passed protocol) just to see how he does. Hard to imagine that he would be a key element against Seton Hall.

            • He could be a key element in giving a not great coach one more thing to think about 30 hours before gametime.

I would like to see us reintegrate Anton against Seton Hall during mop up minutes when we clear the bench :)

That's what I would like to see...

I thought about that. But even if Anton could play significant minutes in this game Seton's Hall focus will be on Fred, Ron, Zach and Markis and maybe an awareness of keeping track of Conner at the 3-point line.

                  • So does that mean the doctors already gave their approval? Or does "might play" just mean they are waiting to see what the doctors say?

                    • MK just said that Anton has been practicing live for 3 days. Five on five, contact and all.

                        • This is awesome news, I don't think Gregg with his history would allow him to play with any open questions.

What a great end to the feeling we all had that day in Orlando. Who would have thought he'd be suited up against seton hall?

                            • Praise the Lord for Grady's return. Great kid. Deserves this.

Came in the game and immediately drew a critical third foul from Carrington and went down to the other end and drained a sky hook to stretch the margin to 8 going into the half.

We're gonna need a new thread called "prayers for the remaining teams on our schedule"

                              • Unfortunately, he didn't really help the team. He made like one FG, missed all his free throws, and fouled out in limited action.
