The 2nd annual Leave Shaq Home event needs to happen, and soon.

I hate to say negative things about any of our players...but Shaq has regressed mentally more then any shocker in recent memory...I just don't get it...

Anyone notice an argument between Marshall and Hamilton? Hamilton wasn't in the game at that point. One of the assistant coaches separated them.

It would very disappointing if Eric turns out to be a distraction. We have witnessed elsewhere where players egos become detrimental to the team. I hope this is something that can be overcome as Eric could develop into a fine, fine power forward. Guess we'll find out tomorrow how far it went.

I was proud to be a Shocker fan today. I thought the kids played hard. We got 19 more shots than Southern Cal. The Trojans routed Monmouth earlier...Monmouth is beating Notre Dame.

By 10.

Deep into the 2nd half.

This tourney was a huge trap, BEFORE we got injured. But injuries happen. The kids on the floor played hard.

John Robert played in his 1st game ever losing at WSU.

Feel bad for Baker....Kid gave everything and was gassed at the end. Tomorrow is a gut check day. No excuses. Go Shocks!


A talented team, playing with a lot of confidence and is now 5-0 needed to shoot 53% from 3 to beat us by 1 basket.

How's that work, borrow Shamet's eligibility while he's injured? Because certain students finish earlier on Finals week they can consider the semester over for Frankamp a couple days early?

I know that folks will bomb me, but Wessel played 29 minutes and went 1/5 and 0/4.

I would start Markis in his place in a heart beat. Markis went 5/9 and 2/3. Markis had 14 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 TO, and 2 PF.

In fairness, Evan had 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 0 TO, and 1 PF.

Agreed, albeit sadly. I think through Evan's career he was a great fit because he was in super talented teams that needed a blue collar glue guy. Evan might be the best glue guy in the history of wsu basketball. This team at its present state doesn't need a glue guy, it needs raw scoring talent.

I agree. I am a huge fan of Evan Wessel. I love what he brings to the floor. Right now, it isn't what we need to start gemes. I still think he could be very valuable, just as more of a glue guy/human bruise coming off the bench to slow down the young guys on the second team.
