I would have said let Fred play if he thinks he's ready... But, I bet that's what happened in Tulsa. :\

There are just too many stories about a too early comeback and re-injury. If he re-injures it, then the Shocks will be duck soap in conference play.
I don't think Tyrone is going to morph into Magic Johnson in the next few weeks, but I could be wrong.

I'll admit I'm probably paranoid with everything that's gone wrong to this point but I feel we're better served exercising extreme\paranoid caution. If we drop the next 2-3 games there's still something to play for if Fred can get healthy come conference time. If he ends up reagrevating the hammy then all hope is lost.

That said there is absolutely no reason to bring Fred back too soon and these other guys need to loosen up and play basketball. Hard for me to believe they are not significantly better than they have been playing. How you go about getting them to play loose and more to their potential is above my pay grade but I hope 3G and his staff can find the solution.Last edited by 1972Shocker; December 1, 2015, 05:38 PM.

I do remember coach saying on one of the coach's shows (after the Tulsa game) that he would listen to the trainers this time. He's not gonna let him go unless the trainers say he's good to go. So I hope he sticks to that.
I also hope Fred's been taking the golf cart to classes to further reduce risk :chuncky:

Fred needs to sit. St. Louis is not worth it. UNLV would be nice but if you sat him up to the Utah game with CF coming on board, that's best case scenario for me. Of course, FVV coming back will help, but missing Grady is still a huge obstacle for this team to overcome. Who's going to fill Grady's role, Shaq? Pffftttt!
