So are you telling me that your not worried about the implications of Fred not being 100% or worse yet going down for extended period of time - especially going into Orlando? With the conference WSU plays in the margins are very thin and WSU has to do well in the non-conference portion. If Fred is almost or at 100% by Orlando - I'm confident WSU will play well. But if not, that confidence drops because we saw what happened at Tulsa (and things didn't go so well in the scrimmage with OSU when he was out).

I'm not really sure what you're implying I'm saying, but I was just pointing out that Fever was possibly saying "not sure if serious" about your "at-large" chances comment. As if having Fred out a couple of games at the start of the season means we will miss the tournament entirely. That's all I was pointing out.

        Bingo.

SB overreacts a lot. See the thread he created after the George Washington loss last year.

I remember this one year when _FOUR_ of our starters were out for at least one game.

There were plenty of "learning" games in 2013 before WSU went to the Final 4. There were some pretty ugly games fairly late in that season. This will be a good year with minor improvement in the team play or a great year if the freshman and sophomores get if figured out and really contribute.

WSU at-large chances are dependent on what WSU does in the next 2-3 weeks, Unless you think the MVC is going to be a top 7-9 conference. So Fred being out or not playing up to his ability during say the Orlando tournament could have significant consequences, at a minimum seeding implications. WSU margin at this moment of going from at-large to bubble team is 6-7 losses for season.

No matter what, we have to have a couple decent wins on our resume. We can't flame out in Orlando and also get beat by Utah and still feel safe. I'm confident we'll win a lot of games, but somewhere there has to be some quality wins.

Is that an earthquake I hear, or is it the sky falling? Oh never mind. It's just construction across the street from my office.

So WSU needs to win games?
                      Got it.
                      K thanks.

Outcome is immaterial. Hope that Fred doesn't dress. Ron, Anton play sparingly. Lots of Taylor with the ball in his hand spelled by JRS, so Taylor can get tag teamed by coach and Fred. Hope we see a lot of zone.

Oh, and Taylor is supremely talented. He is a freshman and just played his first road game against a likely NCAA team.

they would get exposed. That was an understatement. TT and EH looked confused and out of place.
I think both could eventually go the way of Glass and Holland. Hope they prove me wrong.
Have not lost faith in MM yet and think we are going to need him and soon. I'd give SM an
ultimatum. Show some energy and enthusiasm ALL the time or find a school that will except your
lack of heart. Enormous talent going to waste. I'd invest in MM. Right now, LS is the second best
player on the team behind RB, but of course when Fred gets healthy he will be third. ZB also needs
to step it up and be a factor or there is going to be a lot of minutes for next years freshmen
class. CF is going to be an enormous help. Not worried about EW - he just had a bad game, but I
the only freshman that I am encouraged by right now is LS. Think RN needs to pull his RS as we need
                          him now.
Other than CF being a big help I think you are full of it.

It does not appear that anyone in the MVC will be considered a quality win this year either

Tulsa may be losing their chance at an NCAA at large today
