Wichita State vs Tulsa GAME THREAD

Shaq may go down as one of those guys like JT Durley, Stutz, or Paul Miller. We cuss his name after every game for 3 years and he emerges as an ALL MVC player his senior year and we all talk about how great he is.

Fortunately/unfortunately our program is not at the same level as it was when any of those 3 guys played.

Totally agree, but we also haven't gotten to the point of bringing in the 4 star big men. Our guard recruiting is a notch or two above the bigs.

We got outplayed, woulda lost even if we would have got an even whistle. We will fall 8 or 10 spots in the polls

lost in all the hoopla was that much of wsu's vaunted depth is made up of underclassmen. those frosh and soph's will come around.. eventually.

I see us droping to about the 14 to 15 range, Tulsa is good, wether they are consistent or not is up in the air. As far as athletic, they surely are. We caught them on a night when they were hitting the three ball, i believe they had 12 , and shot it at a good percentage. Our bench is young, but the ceiling is pretty high for them if they keep their heads on straight...

No doubt Shaq has to get his act together or he'll be sitting alot, Marshall will not have to many more games like that before he's sitting at the end of the bench. Taylor will be a good point for us someday, how soon that is who knows, I like his speed, but sometimes he's a little out of control, he just needs to take it ddown a notch. So far Landry has shown that he has the talent and confidence to play right now. He did get into foul trouble but he looks unafraid and has the talent to help us now...
