Anybody have any idea the longest the clock has run in one stretch in this debacle?

      That's 44 at 15:48.

Not quite the 90 the first 4 minutes predicted, but too close to it.

Formula for winning games this year:

Drive to the basket on every play. Shoot 100 FT's.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

This is exactly what i am afraid of.

How many foul shots will Balentine get? He may foul full teams out coming off of screens and just driving

Has all the pace and flow of a junior high girls' game.

Trust me guys, it's this crew. I've been watching other games tonight that haven't had near as many fouls called. Like anything, every official will have a different tolerance level on contact. This crew is way overofficiating.

At the same time, players need to learn how to adjust. It's been called this way all game, just keep your hands off. It's really not that hard to play defense or get rebounding position without having your hands all over somebody. Make an adjustment, play hands off basketball. Yes, the way these guys are calling it sucks, but good teams will learn how to adjust.

I'm impressed with the color guy on Cox 22. What's his name, Bob Hull? He was very knowledgeable and explained beautifully why the 2 illegal screens were called on Charleston Southern. Bruce, on the other hand, is typical Bruce

Wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't. I don't think he's seen officiating he does like. However, with this crew, he's mostly justified

Taylor feeling it tonight. I don't mind the quick trigger when that's the result.

Easy to say "just adjust". For many of these players they are just playing the way they were taught for years. It is instinct. They will adjust, but will take more than 1 game.

Plus side, they have been consistently horrible on both ends.

This officiating is so extreme that Jake White could actually get a charge called.

This is the Garrett Stutz foul rules being enforced against everybody.

Hamilton with 10 and 6 in 10 minutes of play.

If half the league games are called like this one, the Shox will dominate FoY voting.

Freshmen are story of the game tonight. And I am actually ok with that for now. Can't put a value on the experience they are getting every minute they are out there. Only help with the quality depth later in the year

Gotta think this will pay dividends in March

Imo, good defensive, disciplined teams already play defense with their feet and not their hands, so there shouldn't be a lot of adjustments needing to be made anyways. I think both teams have done a better job adjusting, but the Shox have done much better.

The officials have called a lot of stuff that had to be called, bit also called a lot of stuff they could and should have passed on. Definitely haven't passed on much. Again, different crews, differently called games.
