Meanwhile, I also had to look up Jake White's game, because I couldn't figure out how a team can score 80 in a half and lose. But it turned out that Duquesne was up 19 at halftime and the Omaha rally fell short, and the teams shot 80 FTs between them, which will help pump up the score.

I think they were trying a new rule, only 2 players could cross half court and play defense. That's about the only way I could think that 149 point could be scored in a half.
