WSU vs. the Chickenhawks in basketball is reminiscent of WSU vs. Texas in baseball: the Shockers have never beaten Texas in regular season baseball play; never lost to them in the tournament. So actually The Flagship isn't even quite up to speed in that comparison, either, because the Mighty Beaks HAVE lost to WSU (however seldom) in regular season basketball, while never beating the Shocks when it matters most.

Well when your handed a top seed year after year you should at least get to sweet 16s yearly and a final 4 most of the time. But self sure has choked quite a bit considering the top seeds they get year after year not to mention top of the crop players to boot. I remember how effing good Nebraska basketball was back when they were in the Big 12. They're still effing great now that they are in the Big 10! Last 3 years in NCAA Tournament:
KU 4-3
WSU 7-3
Don't really care what KU did 50 years ago or even 10 or 20.
It would (will) be a good matchup again this year. Nothing to fear.
Currently, both are good/great programs - get over yourself 93. ;)Comment
