My mistake, the wheels do now appear to be off.

Rutgers is awful, but Seton Hall looking solid if not formidable. Up 25.

One thing is for sure. We need to play better defense certainly, but the days of beating GOOD teams 67-59 are all but over.

We HAVE to find ways to score, and score a lot. Fast.

              • Utah in a close game with IPFW at half time.

Loyola up 9 on Creighton with about 5 min left in the first half.

Dribble penetration has been the single biggest problem; on both sides of the ball.

Without Fred, no one on offense can't dribble penetrate the lane. This cause the offense to look stagnant, because all the defense has to do is hold their man and wait for WSU to throw up a shot.

On defense, WSU can't stop dribble penetration. Resulting in all the wide open threes and high shooting-%s. They should try going to zone early, until they can find a way to defend dribble penetration better.

I just turned that game on and apparently nobody in Chicago cares about this game either. There is almost nobody at the game. I guess they are all at the Creighton vs. Loyola game.

                      • Honestly, Loyola looks like the "BIG EAST" team. They are much more athletic and look like the better team.

They probably fit the Big East footprint better than Creighton too.

                          • Honestly still not sure if Creighton has a player that can dunk the ball.

                              • Creighton was down 2 with the ball under their basket with about 9 seconds left. They drew up a lob play; unfortunately, their post player wasn't athletic enough to jump up to tip it in.
