Back in the glory days of the mid-2000s, MVC programs would get a top-150, or even a top-100 player. Simply, they had better recruiting classes. The top of the league was better, even if the bottom wasn't good. It was also known as a coach's league. Those days are gone.

Yeah I mean that's where my mind still is and I keep going into every season thinking the uptick is about to happen. Each year, for several years now it just keeps not coming together.
