Probably right. I would predict that if anything is done, it is the ATh. Dept. idea to give all users an individual password. Stop the line cutters.

I say they offer no pre-sale all tickets open to the general public the same day. Season ticket holders get the same chances everyone else gets. That puts everyone on an even playing field for one game. Give season ticket holders a coupon for 1 free small popcorn since they feel entitled to something.

Plenty of season ticket holders would have no problem with this. I'm going to guess... oh... perhaps the bottom 75% of SASO members would consider that an improvement.

At the end of the day, WSU is primarily interested in keeping the big money donors happy, and the current system takes care of that just fine. Not so much for the majority.

It appears only single tickets are left. You can't get a pair of tickets in select a seat.

It's fantastic that most are the tickets have been sold before the season has even started. It'll be a bummer if there are a bunch of empty seats though... Stubhub has quite a few tickets for sale to this game. I'd estimate 150+

It'll be no difference than years' past. Last year there were over 300+ on Stubhub at one point and nearly as many the year before. The only thing I see different this year is some of the lower level prices are higher, but would be surprised if they sell for that.

I'm fine with they way they sold tickets, everyone who wants to be there will be there. My seats are better than when they included them in the season ticket package a few years ago. Sure they could tweak the process, but I say don't mess with what works. It's soldout and the season hasn't even started!

This is a unique year because it is the first time that WSU is probably a Top 10 Team playing against a Top 15 Team. That isn't the same as playing St. Louis, Southern Miss., UAB (probably none were even Top 100), or even Tennessee (who was around 50). The first year I went to the UAB game and I thought that the tickets were too expensive for the product. The price went down a little after that, but they only drew 10,000 to that game. Southern Miss. was less than 10,000, Tennessee was not a sell out either (maybe 13,000). I don't think that the ticket price is the problem. They need to look at other ways to solve the new problems that happened this year (with the SASO scalping problem).

I wonder what Villanova does. They play only about 5-6 games on their campus because they only can seat about 4,000. The rest are at a downtown arena.

Yea, the Tennessee walk up crowd left about a thousand tickets on the table. The SLU game sold out something like 72 hours prior to tipoff.

Select-a-Seat shows insufficient quantities for singles in the $14 range now. I think the sellout of the first and by far the largest wave of tickets released is "official."

Bummed out. I haven't missed an IBA game yet. I usually try to get a premium seat or loge box. This year the IBA tells me unlikely because the wait list is too long. Love it the Shox at the IBA is getting more accepted but sad that it means no seats this year.
