  • Just got my Seton Hall tix. If anyone is going, I suggest you get them while there are still some decent seats left.

    • Got ours too.

Lower level center is pretty much done for.

        • The arena is in Newark.

The Prudential Center is in the Meadowlands area, which is Newark, I believe...so Newark would be your best bet.

If the game was being played a block away from LaGuardia, I'd still take Newark.

Prudential is actually in downtown Newark which is a lot more convenient than the middle of nowhere swamp.

It may be convenient, but is it safe? According to what I've been told by friends and acquaintances, I don't think I would go anywhere around the Pru complex at night, at least not without a gun (note: I'm not a gun owner). Damn sure wouldn't take any trains around that area either.

There is an arena at the Meadowlands, and I just figured that was the one. You learn something new every day.

Actually, there was an arena. It was closed earlier this year and will probably eventually be demolished.

Well it's an 11:00am game so that takes care of that.

Is it safe? Is it any safer than any other arena location in this country? Is Koch Arena safe?

I think you need to get out more. Unless you plan on involving yourself in gang or illegal drug activity, your chances of getting victimized in Newark are similar to any other large metro area, which is relatively low to nil.

Unless you're calling for an all-out boycott of the game, you need to chill.

The Izod Center, formerly the Meadowlands Arena, is what you were thinking of. Yep, it was home to the Nets.

What section are your tickets in? I was hopeful of sitting near the Shocker bench/fans from Wichita.

The date/time for the Seton Hall game will be early (noon according to http://www.shupirates.com/sports/m-b...kbl-sched.html). The prudential Center schedule shows the Devils playing the Ducks at 7pm the 19th.
Regardless, I'll be making the drive down from CT for the game.
Did you gets tickets yet? I was hoping to sit near some other Shocker fans. Ticketmaster posted Seton Hall tickets today, according to the Seton Hall people. Where in CT do you live? I'm in Norwich.

Are you sure the Shocks are at Section 7?. I asked the Prudential Center people and they weren't sure what side each team would be at.
