Story from Paul about rule changes, but has a blurb about Shaq having knee surgery to fix torn cartilage and realign his kneecap. I had no idea he had a knee injury AND played through it. He started practicing on it and said he can already feel a higher leap.

Not only was he playing, but he played at a level that earned him minutes and HCGMs respect in HCGMs system. Neither are easy to do healthy, let alone with a bum knee.People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. -Isaac Asimov

In Hawaii he was pretty amazing in the pregame dunk line. NBA-level stuff regardless of body type, and within the context of body type I'm pretty certain that Glen Davis and DeJuan Blair couldn't do what he was doing.
To do it with knee problems is amazing. If he takes his rehab seriously I say he is the early favorite on this team to take Tekele's SportsCenter Top 10 crown.
