Calling Tekele another Harden is pretty insulting to Tekele's game I think. Up until the last year or so I don't think Harden could guard the water boy. That isn't saying Harden isn't a good player, it is saying his game and Tekele's game are pretty dissimilar.

OTOH if he was comparing Tekele to former Shocker Alex Harden then that would be a superb compliment. In fact, you would be hard pressed to find another Shocker male/female basketball combo whose careers paralleled each other not only in terms time period (both played from 2011-2015) but more importantly in terms of excellence both as successful basketball players, as team leaders and as people.

These two players have been and will always be Shocker royalty.

Per Paul's twitter, he just said that Tekele hasn't made the Thunder's Summer League roster yet, but he's working out this week for them trying to get on that roster.

According to HoopsHype, Toure Murry will play for Washington in summer league. Wonder if part of his job will be to keep Oubre awake? That is one young man who sure has an overinflated opinion of himself. When he gets out there playing with the men it should be interesting to see how much hot air he spouts off after a game or two.

Lol Cotton and Harden are about as different as they come. Harden is a top 5 offensive player in the whole league who doesn't put a lot of effort on the defensive side (he did do better this year. His steal numbers are impressive). Cotton was an average offensive player at best and one of the best defensive players in the country at the college level.

A think a good comparison for Cotton at the NBA level is Patrick Beverly.
