But the Internet has taught me that waiting is for suckers and that I should expect everyting right NOW!

One thing I haven't really seen anyone touch on is with so many good players on the roster and so few minutes to go around we could very well see some players getting unhappy about playing time and leaving the program. I'll actually predict now that one of our top 150 recruits will transfer out of the program within the next couple offseason. We have quite the log jam at a few positions..

That's a good problem to have. The best players will play.

Anything is possible, but keep in mind, we will have 5 seniors leaving after 15-16. That's going to open up a lot of minutes for whoever will step up and take them.

The two players I can see this happening to are Kelly and Nurger... Again, not trying to ruffle feathers... You know who you are... But the log jam is there...

Kelly, Hamilton, and Nurger are all pushed down the totem poll with the Grady signing... If we do happen to land a game changing 5 that will just make things even more complicated... At that point I'd actually throw Morris into the group I would worry about leaving.

Brown and McDuffie both playing the 3 is actually what probably worries me the most. Brown to me is already on the verge of needing to start and I would think McDuffie will be at the same point after next season. I think 3G will need to find a way to have them both on the court at the same time (Brown playing the 2 or McDuffie playing the 4). Moving McDuffie to the 4 adds to that log jam. I think Brown at the 2 makes a lot of sense if he can improve his handling skills. Already has the shooting touch.

I don't understand your reference to worrying about having more talent. We need players who want to compete against the best. Shaq has enough talent to compete for playing time.

Right now, I'd say Shaq is the starter until he loses the position. He has two years in the system and that should two legs up, plus he has a fair share of playing time and 3G.has confidence in him

I was told Shaq was transferring the day after the Drake game. That didn't happen? I demand accountability!

Shamet and Frankamp at the 2 is also a potentially deep position.

Line-up by class (which could almost be a first, second, third, fourth team.

                          VanVleet
                          Baker

                          Grady

Sophomores: (missing a PG and have an extra post, but...)
                          Frankamp
                          Brown
                          Kelly
                          Morris
                          Nurger

                          Freshman:
                          Taylor
                          Shamet
                          McDuffie
                          Hamilton
(Need Humphries to fill this class out)

                          Walk-ons:
                          Simon
                          Walker

Until Shaq learns to play defense with his legs, he'll never be more than a 15 min/game guy. We still need 3 centers ready to play.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Shaq play 15 per game as the starter or off the bench. Two years ago, no 5 played more than 18 mpg. Shaq and BWam playing 30 mpg with Nurger playing another 10 would be fine. We have Grady as well, who can play a lot of minutes at the 4 or 5 as needed.

While I'd love to see Shaq play 20 to 25 mpg, he doesn't need to for this team to be successful.
