I agree. I had intended to say are Conner and Ron interchangeable at the 2 and 3 spots. We could end up having one hell of a bench, specially after first semester.

I don't know if 3G has a specific philosophy, because I doubt he's ever had this kind of depth, but If we do end up with another quality big guy in here, and some of our younger guys develop well, it would be pretty easy to see us going at least ten deep pretty often. I know that's pretty rare, but our "second five" could be competitive with most of the teams in the Valley.

I think we were 10 deep when we won the NIT:
          Ragland
          Murry
          Hatch
          Ellis
          Durley

          Williams
          Kyles
          Smith
          Blair
          Stutz

The 2010 to 2012 teams had a little less top-end talent, but were extremely deep.

I have found that being extremely deep when you have several All-American's you'd like to see play 30 minutes a game is less of a big deal.

It was close to the Yellow and Black squads. Especially at the 3-5.

Love seeing the depth back again. Should especially be beneficial for Fred and Ron. They can now take a needed break.return with fresh legs., and lesson their chances of injuries when having to play tired.

Does anyone know how soon after graduation the recruits start showing up on campus?

The St Anthony web page shows them having graduation rehearsal on May 26, so Markis McDuffie wouldn't be here until after that. The Hargrave web page has their graduation on May 16 for Tyrone Taylor. Park Hill High School's graduation is May 17 and last day of school is May 22 for Landry Shamet. And of course, Eric Hamilton is already in town.

I'm pretty sure how soon depends on when Fred wants them here........and not one second later.

I think they will start showing up in June. Taylor, Hamilton, McDuffie aren't going to local schools. They probably want to see their family before coming to WSU. Also, they will need a place to stay. When do the dorms open up for summer school?

I hear he has eyes on Tim Duncan or Zach Randolph.
