Bush has some moves. It looked like he was rushing it most of the time last year, once he learns to slow down a little I think we'll see a lot of improvement. While I don't think he's going to be a great offensive player, he can (and I think he will) become something more than an offensive black hole.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

Like I've said before, what we really need is for EO to come back from Penas Huesca in Spain and spend the whole summer swatting Bush until Bush figures out what D is.

He was getting better toward the end of the season so I have a lot of hope.

If a couple of our post guys are able to step up we could be godly next year. Possibly the best team of the Marshall era? Would love to see Brown beat out Wessel at the 3, Mcduffie starting at the 4, and Wamakota improving enought to beat out Morris at the 5. Starting 6', 6'4", 6'6", 6'8", and 6'11" would be pretty hard for most teams to compete with (Especially the Valley).

I like the team you chose for the Shockers. However, the tallest team doesn't always win. Sometimes the shorter, faster team wins.

Don't overlook Kelly at the 4.

I agree with that, but I also feel that lineup would possibly be one of the most athletic lineups we could put on the floor. Brown was probably the second most athletic on the team last year behind cotton. Mcduffieay be the most athletic guy on the team next year. Wamakota isn't theist athletic guy we could put at the 5, but I'd LOVE to see him step up and be a huge lengthy rim protector. Bush needs to work out and watch tape of Jeff Withey all summer! So not only would that lineup be tall, but they would be pretty damn athletic too!

The most athletic team, w/o playing too far out of position would be:

Taylor or Shamet at the point

                Brown at the 2

                McDuffie on the wing

Kelly or Hamilton at the 4

Morris as the post (minus running the court of course)

Imagine a full court press with Fred, Ron, Zach and Rashard, with Big Bush playing goal keeper.

They did that a few times this year. Zach and Rashard were crazy good in the trap.

Duke won with a guard off the bench... And their point guard closed it out in the end...

What if you're tall and fast?

That would be fine. I just don't get being enamored with a tall lineup. I think that mismatches are fine. There are quite a number of fans who put players in boxes. With the way we play, wings can play 2,3, and 4 positions. At Notre Dame, this year, they had a wing that played Center (although he was 6'10, Notre Dame wasn't tall but they had a fun lineup and they were real good.

Do you want a real good starting five or a tall starting five?

                            I want both.

In college basketball, you can usually only pick one.

                                Unless you're Kentucky.
