Bahahaha! Just had a lady from a promo company call my business and want to put our name and logo on magnetic Jayhawk Basketball Schedules that people could put up on their fridges. Long story short, she won't be calling here again, and now I have to go to confession.

I was hoping that Evansville might actually be able to help our RPI a little this upcoming year or at least not drag it down. With their newly released non-con schedule, that probably wont happen unless they win out.

I just hope we don't get Evansville'd this year. Though I do feel a little better about that lately. Jans' parting gift was finally figuring out how to stop their offense. UNI got classic Evansville'd last year. 1st conference game on the road, 49-52 loss. Cost them a conference title.

A little info I had compiled for the Valley board that points to two things we mostly already knew: 1. Marty Simmons should be replaced at least a season ago, 2. Voters look at PPG way too much.

In the last 4 years, WSU has the most 1st Team selections with 8. 2nd? Evansville with 5. No other team had more than 2. The problem though, is that WSU has an .875 Win% in league and 3 conference championships while Evansville has a .472 Win% in league, and hasn't finished higher than a 5-way tie for 3rd.

Sad but true, I know a lady from Evansville that has had season tix there for 14 years. She told me after last season, she's giving them up until they get rid of Marty Simmons. I asked if her if she was afraid she wouldn't be able to get her seats back, and she replied, "It's not like there aren't tons of season tickets available."

If they're serious, they should be able to handle the seven rogues gallery games, though (well, actually six plus an opponent from outside Division 1, which doesn't affect their RPI in any case). I'm assuming all seven are at home?

I have absolutely zero idea of what Arkansas has this year. Are they supposed to be any good?

I don't know what Arkansas has either, Shockda. And I'll STILL believe Evansville winning at Arkansas when it happens.
