Congrats to Tekele on finishing as the winngest Shocker with 120 wins. I had thought that the Newman game this year was his only missed game but he apparently did not play in the Evansville road game in his freshman year.

Fred has not missed a game, so he sits at 95. Barring injury or some other inexplicable reason to miss games, he should take over that mantle next year.

And if we go 40-0, he'll have the most wins as a player in history ;)

@Shockerv:oice: Hardest thing about college sports is saying goodbye to the seniors. Fly high Tekele and DC, you will be a credit to all of us.

20 years from now, I bet I'll still be telling people about Tekele's dunk at Illinois State in 2014.

Tekele and Darius, you both are truly great players who every minute gave your all.

Individually and unselfishly, each of you both have brought great credit to Coach Marshall, your fellow team mates, and to Wichita State University.

May the rest of your lives be even more succesful and rewarding as the time you have spent as a Wichita State Shocker.

I've been privileged and blessed to have witnessed the talents and character of these two warriors. Phenomenal and unselfish talent to coincide with their superb ambassadorship of the program and university. Good luck and God bless you both.

Anyone know of any autograph sessions with the Seniors? I always like to attend and thank them for everything they've done for the program and university, in person. Do it sincerely and make sure they know we appreciate them - they will remain Shockers for life. It's more important than getting an autograph IMO.

                          Go Shocks!

Tekele is an absolute bad a$$ who will be missed more than words can describe for so many reasons.

Here's a parting stat on Cotton:

Jerian Grant (1st Team AP AA) scored exactly ZERO points in roughly 34 minutes of Tekele covering him on Thursday. Grant scored 6 on Brown and 3 on the zone.

Tekele was the best wing defender I saw in the country over the last two years. To do that without length is freakish.
