We do not need to play KU but we also did not need coach Marshall admitting in the K.C. Star video interview that he had never called to ask for a game.
Self had said that but I assumed he was fibbing.
We really don't need all this soap opera stuff anymore, WSU has proved it is a BB Power. We will be fine without KU & will be fine even if or when Marshall leaves.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”

Better then getting stuck having to play Newman. The Assman

As stated, WSU has much bigger goals than to simply play KU. It simply took a beat down by the Shox for many in Wichita to finally understand that. Pontifications from JoCo clowns shouting from Mt Oread doesn't carry any weight when your entire self-worth is shat on. The KU brand over the past 3-4 years has become pretty passé and boring.
