And lol at their fanboard right now. It's borderline in nuclear meltdown mode already. I actually tired after about 5 minutes. 90%+ think KU will win by 14-30+. Good for them. I hope our little ole team of misfits and undersized non-athletes can somehow find a way to just stay competitive. Maybe we'll just try to stall and throw the ball at the basket before we scurry back into a zone hoping against hope that mighty ku is ice cold and allows us to stay within shouting distance so as to not be too embarrassed. Good gosh ah-mighty Joe Friday I do hope they take it easy on us.

There's a part of me that almost doesn't want to see what would happen if ku loses on Sunday. It would be UGLY.

That part of me has been eviscerated.

With Marshall we get a reasonable crack at making it to the Final Four nearly every single year ... but we only get to shut the entitled, Obama lovin', snotty-ass, ticket scandlin', obnoxious, Shock dissin', Marshall hatin', bail bondin', commie lovin', chickenshittin' KU fan-base's mouths up once every 20 years or so. You aren't talkin' about "bragging rights", like how these other posters interpret what you said -- you're just talkin' about the feeling of satisfaction! LOL

I'm sure most fans would rather see WSU play KU on the Shockers WAY to a FF, but not substitute a FF simply to play KU.

Good questions, Veritas. Hey, I, like all of us, feel miserable for days after any loss. Personally, I don't care if we never play KU and I certainly would not sacrifice any win just to play KU.

Looking at where we are today, beating KU on Sunday and advancing to the Sweet 16 would be a sweet win and every win after that would of course even be sweeter. And if we lose after getting to the S-16, I would be naturally disappointed, but also very proud of what the team has accomplished.

And if we lose on Sunday, I will also be very proud of what the team has accomplished as well.

Now let me propose a question. How many of you would be happier that **** if we beat KU tomorrow and they refuse to play us again for the rest of your life times?

This is something I've noticed all over the place. Our fanbase is excited to get the game and we are well aware it will be a good matchup. Many are just enjoying the ride and the added novelty of playing KU for once.

Their fans are getting really unbearable. It's really proving where the insecurity is.

Upon taking a stroll to phagnet, I came across a thread regarding the need to control Van Vleet. The thread author brought up that Fred gets a lot of the benefit of the doubt from officials by creating contact in the lane and he feels FVV gets away with a lot more than what I've ever thought. He is almost immediately attacked for saying KU will have to play the best game of the year to win. I've hated KU and KU fans my entire life. I don't know how you can fit so much arrogance and ignorance into one place.

I promise to NEVER mention hoping to play KU again if WSU wins tomorrow. That said, if WSU wins, it will happen again soon. Just like KU wouldn't have let Missouri end the series with a win at AFH three years ago, there won't be 23 years of waiting for the next game if the Shockers prevail in this one. However, we should then demand straight H/H. Make them come to Koch.
