Been thinking about this recently, but I THINK the fact that MOST NCAA coaches don't flourish at NBA has to do with micro-management style, which spread over 82 games could get old...just a thought.

Actually I heard Charles Koch is going to fund a new NBA franchise for Wichita, hire HCGM as head coach, sign Cle and Toure, draft Ron, then sign Fred and Tekele as free agents. Big Dog will be GM and Tyrone Shoelace will be DOBO.

Speaking of the Big Dog, he was looking NICE Saturday. Trimmed down, he looked like he was ready to give us 10 good minutes at least off the bench.

That being said, the Arena is officially FULL when you can't find a chair for a guy visiting whose jersey is hanging from the rafters.

Honestly, an NBA gig seems more realistic than almost any college gig rumor. After Marshall's little speech after the game yesterday, I got the feeling that he still loves it here and isn't leaving for a long time. I'm still not worried.

Real update upcoming: HCGM was in EXCELLENT spirits this morning. OUTSTANDING even. Not related at all to coach, Fred should be good to go.

I saw Rob Kampman at my church a few times and I'm pretty sure he worked for the Spurs for a little while a long time ago, so I'm with you. This is something we should keep an eye on.

I saw Sean O'Girri's ex-girlfriend at Brahm's. She was wearing a Spur's T-Shirt. I agree, this one definitely has legs.
