I'm sure you all agree, he is over enthused with valley play, but it's a great problem to have. The fact every other game is on ESPN is great, regardless of who calls the game. Interesting note about gameday that I haven't heard much about: Seth Greenberg is staying in town to make it a three person call. Interested to see how that changes things up

I know sometimes it can be hard to find things to complain about but sheesh...

We complain that we don't get enough respect or attention from the media....then we get a member of the media, on the biggest stage in sports (ESPN) and we gripe that he's a bit too much?

        as @ShockerFever: would say #25-3Problems

All that love on s National stage hard to beat- sure beats "well sure their undefeated but they haven’t played anyone"
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

I find home to be annoying. As a couple of others have said, he's so overly enthusiastic that it sounds fake. And it's kind of embarrassing because most of what he says is so over exaggerated that it sounds ridiculous. However, I blame the part of this on the valley because they're the ones that pay him to do it.

Mark Adams gives us some very deserved but very nice compliments to both our Players, or Program, and The Valley. I like him for that and feel like this kind of positive pub. is welcomed with open arms.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

"Horrible" might be some strong word choice. His enthusiasm is meant well; I get it.

Maybe a break (a few games of other announcers) would help.

I'm with Shurtz to the point where I would like to see the word horrible removed from the title of the thread even. Although sometimes over dramatic, this guy is one of a very few independent guys who just runs around the country carrying our banner. Unbelievable advertising. Not too damn smart to call him "horrible". Smacks of we forgot where we came from and you can bet if Adams catches wind of it will damper his Shocker enthusiasm.

Absence would make the heart grow fonder, and folks would appreciate both more after hearing announcers who are all but ignorant of Shocker history and call the program mid-major.

I watched the replay. Couldn't watch it live. It was not nearly as bad as depicted here.

Seriously folks... I think some folks on here don't want to belong to any club that would have them as a member...

From my perspective, what I see on a national landscape is a lack of respect for our program. People who kvetch about him ought to be tied to a chair and force fed the B10 network and/or b12 basketball until they get it.

Mark Adams is not horrible. We need more people like him.

I hate the publicity he gives the Shockers and FVV and Ron Baker.
