nm“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”

KenPom was impressed by tonight's effort, as the Shocks improved from .9002 to .9058 and moved from 13th to 12th. Offense was incredibly efficient on 63 possessions, and the defense was just meh from a macro standpoint (outside the stretch when the bottom 5 came in and couldn't defend worth a damn, though, the D was actually quite good).
Shocks' RPI fell from 15 to 17 and the SOS tumbled from 98 to 105 with the win. This was the last grenade of the regular season- the remaining games will either be a net positive (UE and, obviously, UNI) or neutral-ish (@ ISUb) on the RPI if we win. A final SOS **** sandwich awaits on Friday in STL.

It isn't until Fall 2016 that I'll break out the worry. Although Shaq continues to break those fears.
