Coach Marshall basically said that in his postgame interview with MK. He said he told Shaq (paraphrasing), "You, and only you, can take us deep into the tournament."

The most interesting part of the second half might have been when Bruce and Shane talked about all the teams coming back next year fully or mostly intact. That's good. We will still be picked first but more competition is welcome.

I know. He seems a bit nervous in the interviews, but yeah, he really gets it. He just doesn't do many bone headed things on the court. He seeks to be way ahead of the curve in that department, especially for a big.

We really shot the ball well tonight, over 50% on threes, and Evan hit a few more. If he can keep the defenders honest and keep hitting the open looks it will really keep them from doubling up on Darius and Shaq. What a great game from Shaq, if he and Darius can keep out of foul trouble that will make us very dangerous come post season time. Bout the only real problem tonight was being out rebounded, othere than that very solid outing. Fred, Ron and Tekale had a very solid night shooting and playing D. Now we get Evansville at home, only two home games left, lets send the seniors out in style...
