The sign of a great team is beating a clearly inferior team into a bloody pulp...not just getting a comfortable lead and then getting sloppy but to continuing to put the hammer down. I remember former Royals manager Tony Muser saying that about the late '90s Yankees. It didn't matter if they were playing the lowly Royals or the Red Sox. The Bombers beat the hell out of everyone.
