I'll remind everyone again, that Vegas lines are not 100% predictive of the final point margin, but to even betting between the two sides. You can have people bet more heavily on a name, which will drop their spread to even the bets. Being a successful bettor is finding the value in the lines.

Even though the Shocks had a man advantage, the Shocks had difficulty scoring against a 2-2 zone.
Then fairly late in the game, a Shocker started bombing in field goals in the top of the key area. I cannot remember his name, but he was a star player and he was from an European country. He was about 6-9.
The player is famous for his fake pass with the ball between his legs. I cannot remember the detail.

By my calculations (from the 2014-2015 Basketball Yearbook at goshockers.com), under HCGM the Shockers have 128 wins, 11 losses when the Shockers score 70 or more.
2007-2008: 4 wins, 3 losses (losses @ UNI in OT, @ Indiana State in OT, @ Northern Arizona)
2008-2009: 7 wins, 0 losses
2009-2010: 17 wins, 2 losses (@ Bradley, Nevada (NIT))
2010-2011: 22 wins, 2 losses (UConn in Hawaii, UNI)
2011-2012: 22 wins, 2 losses (Temple in OT in Puerto Rico, @ Drake in 3OT)
2012-2013: 17 wins, 1 loss (@ Creighton)
2013-2014: 25 wins, 1 loss (Kentucky)
2014-2015: 14 wins, 0 losses
To date, HCGM is 195-74 at WSU."If you strive for perfection, often times you can achieve excellence." --Gregg Marshall

Going point.
Interestingly enough, people have been commenting that they feel the spread is too big and should be closer to 12-14 instead of 18. This would mean that people have been betting on ISUb and Vegas is trying to compensate by encouraging bets on WSU.
If WSU is truly the "name team" here that is causing everyone to bet on them, the spread should actually shrink.
Just an observation.

Wonder if guys need to wear some kind of protective head gear during practices. This could be something someone needs to develop and market. If WSU did it they could market as "Shock Absorber" head gear "For athletes that Practice Angry".
