I still like the term, "sorry ass."

Reminds me of my Texas A&M days. "Fish del Rio, you sorry ass. Give me 25."

I should have saved it for somebody that really deserved it. What's with the Fish del Rio?

Liked your post, but bobblehead is their #2 scorer on the season and it's not that close.

I didn't see Fred Ron or tekele as freshmen. Were they further along than our current crop.

                      To put it simply; yes.

I would say Tekele was on Kelly's level, Fred was on Shaqs (minus the bonehead). Rob Barker was the best freshman I have ever seen in a WSU uni.

Tekele didn't play much. He backed up Joe Ragland, D. Will, Toure Murry, David Kyles, Ben Smith. Fred played major minutes off of the bench and Baker started. Baker was a difference maker immediately and Fred grew into it as the year went on. For most Freshmen, the grind of a long season make them less consistent as the year moves on.

Rob Barker was also a redshirt freshman, so it's hard to compare his early success to RK, RN, etc.

But it's somewhat fair then, to compare him to Shaq and Rian. While Shaq has had some headscratching inconsistencies you wouldn't expect from a redshirt, he has also shown the most progression this year of all the newbies, in my opinion. Rian is the glaring weak link--he should be contributing much more than he has been considering his head start as a redshirt.

Thats what I call four of a kind. Would you try to draw to a full house or 5 of a kind in this instance?
