I think this is a great point and maybe the answer lies in practices. Do our starters dominate the 2's just like at the beginning of the summer or is the gap closing? I also think HCGM, if faced with the flu epidemic as outlined above, would coach his ass off, actually use time outs to keep the guys on track, and not be so quick with the hook. After a full game or two under this scenario (even if we lost) our bench would be significantly better than what we have today.

point first half lead and then maybe start the second half with something like RN, RK, TG, ZB
and CH without holding them back.
